The forceps jaws are made of medical-grade stainless steel, with carefully polished and refined edges that minimize damage to the forceps channel openings.
The blade edge is specially treated for sharpness, excellent fit, and ensures easy and reliable sampling.
Laser welding is employed, resulting in high-strength component connections;
The spring tube is available with an ultra-smooth plastic coating, effectively reducing damage to the clamp channel holes.

The disposable endoscopic soft-tube biopsy forceps consist of a needle tip (06Cr19Ni10), forceps head (05Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb), spring tube (06Cr19Ni10), plastic-coated layer (PE), tension cable (06Cr19Ni10), slip ring, and handle—along with a protective sheath made of TPE. These forceps are available in several specifications, differentiated by the applicable channel hole diameter, working length, forceps head characteristics, whether they are plastic-coated, and whether they come equipped with a needle.
Basic parameters include:
- Connection strength: The device must withstand a tensile force of 30N for 10 continuous seconds.
- Forceps head opening angle: The two jaws must be able to open at an angle of at least 90°.
- Forceps head hardness: Minimum hardness of 245 HV0.2.
- Surface roughness: Ra ≤ 0.8 μm.
- Corrosion resistance: The outer surface must meet or exceed Grade b, while other components must meet or exceed Grade c.
The product is sterilized using ethylene oxide and must be delivered in a sterile condition.
